Since 1977, we have been performing concerts in and around Wantage. All ages are welcome!
COVID for us: we switched to virtual rehearsals for our string players during COVID, and continued to meet every week. In September 2020 we resumed in-person rehearsals, for both wind and string players. We rehearsed weekly through 2021, with a performance in July to a small real audience! We are performing as normal in public, usually three concerts a year. |
The Wantage Orchestra is an amateur orchestra based in Wantage in Oxfordshire. It welcomes instrumentalists of all ages.
The orchestra normally plays three concerts to the public per year.

We rehearse Tuesdays in school term times at 7.30 pm, normally at King Alfred's Academy West Site, Challow Road Wantage OX12 7DU
